Terms and Conditions

  • Please drop off and collect your cat within our opening times. These are on the website and your booking confirmation.
  • Please bring your cats along in a secure carrier. We advise one cat per carrier. We will not be responsible for escaped cats due to faulty carriers or accidents in transportation.
  • All cats’ health histories should be made known to the cattery on arrival e.g. recent contagious diseases, illnesses or disabilities
  • All cats are vaccinated and certificates are required on each visit.
  • Full payment is only due 2 weeks prior to your booking preferably by bank transfer or cash. This is non-refundable.
  • Daily charges include the days/half days of arrival and collection.
  • There will be no discount for early collection.
  • In the unlikely event your cat(s) requiring a vet whilst they are staying with us, we will endeavour to take your cat(s) to your own vets wherever practical.
  • The vets’ fees, plus our labour/mileage will be charged to you (we are not members of Petplan or other insurance schemes since we feel this puts the cattery fees up unnecessarily as we very rarely need to go to a vet)
  • Whilst reasonable care and attention is given your cat(s) in our care, all cats are left at their owners risk.
  • We do not accept responsibility for any damage, accidents or loss to vehicles whilst on our premises.
  • Only cats from the same home will be housed in the same cabins. Where cats are sharing, please alert us as to any medical, dietary, behavioural or other issues which may affect your cats’ stay. We reserve the right to separate cats where necessary, in the unlikely event we feel there is a safety issue. There may be an extra charge for this.
  • Please advise us of dates of your cats’ arrival and departure in advance. Please keep us informed as to any changes to these dates. Space permitting, any cat(s) left uncollected after 7 days - without communication from the owner or a representative -will be treated as abandoned and taken to an animal re-homing centre.
  • In the unlikely and unfortunate event that your cat dies on the premises, we will endeavour to contact you. This is usually discussed in advanced with owners of very elderly/ill cats.
  • We are happy to administer any medications provided in discussion with you, there will be a small charge for this.
  • We encourage you to bring your own bedding however all belongings left on the premises are left at your risk. Any belongings that are soiled during your cats stay will be washed, wherever possible.
